He also wrote the critically acclaimed animated feature BATMAN: UNDER THE HOOD, based on his original work in the BATMAN series. He graduated from high school in 1988 and entered the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor's School of Art. Writer/artist Judd Winick has handled most every major character in the DC Universe including notable runs on GREEN LANTERN, GREEN ARROW, THE OUTSIDERS, JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION LOST. Most recently he has been working for Legendary Comics in the title A Town Called Dragon. He was also hired by Marvel Comics and Image Comics. While Jason dabbled as a villain for a few years, hes managed to turn his act around and even stop using guns. Later on, he worked on various titles including Justice Leagues: Justice League of Aliens #1, Harley and Ivy: Love on the Lam, and a few more. Although Jasons death immediately became an iconic piece of Batmans mythology that reshaped his entire personality, he was eventually revived in Under the Red Hood by Judd Winick, Doug Mahnke, Eric Battle, and Shane Davis. His first published work for DC Comics was in 2000 in Green Lantern (Volume 3). He began his career in comic books in 1998 working for Oni Press. Then he decided to write a whole book of comics about a character of his own: Hilo, the boy who crashed to Earth. As an adult, he wrote for DC Comics stories about Green Lantern, Batman and Catwoman among other superheroes. Judd Winick is an American comic book, comic strip and television writer/artist who rose to fame by being part of the reality show The Real World: San Francisco. When he was a kid, Judd Winick loved reading comics in the newspaper.
